Biography

Lars Angle Thorsen, 83 of 1466 Silverada Blvd., died Thursday in a Reno rest home. A native of Norway, he was born March 3, 1892 and had lived in Reno for 13 years. He had worded for Kelly-Howe Thompson Co. for 44 years as warehouse supervisor until his retirement. Surviving are his widow, Ruth N. Thorsen of Reno; daughters, Mrs. Robert Markham of Reno and Mrs. Robert Donaldson of Indiana; a stepson, Jerome Bjerklien of Reno; step-daughter, Mrs. James Hawley of Texas; brothers Ludvig and Almar Thorsen, both of Norway; five grandchildren and give great-grandchildren. A funeral is scheduled for 2 pm Saturday at Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary, with private burial to follow.
